TEST ENGINEER

Your responsibilities will include

Overall Role Objectives

• Define scope testing and define test cases for assigned projects

• Execute test cases and mark testing result

• Run system testing, sanity testing, regression testing

• Identify the impacted areas of fixes or enhancements of features

• Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing

• Recording and consolidation of test case results into Issue Tracking

• Improve the system testing procedure continually

• Peer to peer review test cases, test results

Tester Engineer Responsibilities

• Understand well about the project scope and specifications

• Define and review and update test cases to keep test cases up to date

• Ensure the project meets the specifications

• Suggest improvements to specifications for platform and projects.

• Run system testing on assigned projects to ensure the final product is delivered to spec.

• Find bugs and report bugs with detailed information of test results (browsers, steps to replicate, screenshots, error messages)

• Assist in consolidating test results and follow Issue Tracking for the PM/BA.

• Re-testing and verifying and closing testing issues.

• Review the system testing procedure continually and give any strategies/suggestions to improve it

To be successful in this role you must have:

• 3+ years of testing experience in software development projects

• At least average English reading and writing skills

• Understand SDLC process

• Basic knowledge of Database/ SQL

• Good sense of teamwork and highly responsible for the assigned tasks

• Carefulness, good at logical thinking, critical thinking, and attention to details

• Time management skills

• Ability to define scope testing and define test cases and report bug

• Ability to perform API testing via Postman.

• Ability to perform UI testing
